    Description

    This is a beautiful and colorful new talavera pottery style from Mexico.  It is a flower planter made in the "Michoacana talavera" style... hand-painted all around in rich jewel tones against a natural terracotta-colored base.  Strong fired and glazed inside and out.  Thick and heavy.  It has lovely detailing in the butterflies and the florals.  It has a hole to drain and will hold about 2.43 cubic feet of dirt.  It measures 14" tall by 19" at its widest with a 16" upper rim diameter.
